Joseph Ibarra Traina Scholarship

"Joey" attended elementary, middle, and high school here and our family would like to contribute to the education of our community by easing the financial burden for deserving students.

This scholarship honors the memory of a son, a father, and a friend of the Augusta community whose talents and passion were influenced by his family, his teachers, mentors, and his friends. The value of artistic expression, citizen activism, freedom of speech, democracy, voter integrity, and government transparency were his constant focus and commitment.

This scholarship offers the applicant an opportunity to reflect upon their future contributions to our community and to express that vision.
